4002 Magnetic Lock DEM door sensor – DEM
Electric Furniture Lock – Robust, Secure, and Efficient
The 4002 Magnetic Lock DEM is designed for high-security applications in furniture and room doors, especially for sliding doors. In addition, its robust construction and built-in magnetic sensor ensure reliable and secure operation at all times.
Key Features:
-
High Mechanical Strength – It provides tensile resistance up to 530 kg*, and it uses a solid steel bolt for strong locking performance.
-
Built-In Magnetic Sensor – It continuously monitors door status, which improves overall system security.
-
Recommended for Steel Frames –It works best with steel bolt mounting in high-performance structures. However, it is also suitable for wooden furniture, since the lock strength exceeds the strength of the wood itself.
-
Power-to-Lock Function – The lock opens in the event of a power failure (fail-safe).
-
Precision Installation Required –Use only the original faceplate provided to ensure proper operation. Door gaps should not exceed 3 mm for maximum security.
-
Testing Recommended –Before final production, you should test the locking function in prototype furniture. This helps verify tamper resistance and misalignment tolerance. In addition, you should test the installation before closing doors or drawers for the first time to avoid access blockages.
-
Use of Supporting Components – Self-closing hinges and holding magnets are mandatory. Therefore, doors and drawers must not be under opening tension.
-
External Dismantling Option – The lock should be installed in a way that allows external removal in case of defect, ensuring continuous access to the furniture.
